John R Weir Ltd opened its doors in October 1992. The company had been awarded a new Mercedes-Benz franchise and created a purpose-built facility at its first site in Grangemouth.

There are now five Mercedes-Benz passenger car retail sites (three of which also sell light commercial vehicles) and one dedicated commercial vehicle dealership in Aberdeen. In addition we have a dedicated team of corporate sales staff based at our Perth location.

John R Weir was awarded the smart franchise in 2002. This exciting range of innovative vehicles is sold from our two locations in Perth and Aberdeen.

Chrysler and Jeep representation in Perth and Inverness was added to our range of franchises in June 2003 and 2006 has seen us expand our representation with Subaru and Isuzu in Perth.
